This is the view I enjoyed a week ago when I rode Ellie May down to get the mail. Our mailbox is 1/2 mile from the house, and while I don't always ride Ellie down there, this day I just couldn't help getting out and enjoying the beautiful winter wonder land that we had woke up to.
I also enjoyed stopping by and checking up on the progress the Bald Eagles are making down at the Kemper Hole on their nest. It is incredible how large this will be when they are done. The birds are so huge and so beautiful, we often have to stop while coming up or down the lane to our house and just watch them for a few moments.
