Zilla Zilla Zilla

I've been way too busy lately, but it's been a good busy.  The weather turned a bit cold on us again, so I quit shearing for about a week,  yesterday I did get little Zilla up and give her a hair cut though.  She was such a good girl.

Super duper yummy.

Fleece Love and Happiness

A few days ago I took a few minutes to take a peek at what I have to look forward to.

This is little Florence and her first shearing won't be till this Fall, but I'm already dreaming of all the wonderful wooly fun we will have with that beautuful fleece.

Things to Come

This is my little Polypay ewe named Ethel.  It's really a shame Polypays get the bum wrap that they do for being a "meat Sheep".  I only have the two little Polypay gals, but they both have exceptional, though very distinct, fleece.  I'm going to have to send Ethel's off for a micron test, so that people will really believe me about just how nice her fleece is.  Next to Clementine she's my favorite. If only she could work on her personality a bit.......

So this is what I'm patiently waiting for later this Spring.  Isn't it lovely?

The Beginning Of a Sweater

Now to start spinning.  I haven't spun anything for myself in quite a while.  I think a sweater or vest is called for, especially since the weather is turning cooler.  I promise photo updates soon.
